Cybersecurity Interview Questions!

Cybersecurity is a growing field and consists of quite a few different domains of computer knowledge that are needed together to become a Cybersecurity Professional. Cybersecurity Professional needs to have expert knowledge in Networking, System Administration like Windows, Linux, macOS, GRC compliance and a myriad of knowledge of Threats and Vulnerabilities these systems might be prone to.

Cybersecurity Professionals have to not only study for certifications to get recognized in the industry but also prepare for interviews which are a whole different ballgame! that's why I will talk about 5 Technical Interview questions that a prospective employer might ask.

  1. Explain the CIA triad.

CIA stands for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. CIA is a model that is designed to guide policies for Information Security.

Confidentiality: The information should be accessible and readable only to authorized personnel. It should not be accessible by unauthorized personnel.

Integrity: Making sure the data has not been modified by an unauthorized entity. Integrity ensures that data is not corrupted or modified by unauthorized personnel.

Availability: The data should be available to the user whenever the user requires it.
